weight loss? increased sex drive? (this may be TMI, but I have virtually NONE now... poor FH.) My doc says I will notice a difference... she did!

I did!!! Just a few months ago actually! I love it. And I was like you with barely a sex drive, but I do in fact see an improvement.
I think I did lose a few pounds at first, but then I had a rough time in my life (stress eating) and gained it back plus. So I can't really be of much help on that one. Sorry...

oh thank GOD. Really... at this point, I could go the rest of my life without ANY on Yasmine. I hope Yaz changes that. Any my FH is a Good Lookin' Man! lol.
My doc said my FH will love Yaz. She said that I'll love Yaz, too, but I won't know I'll love Yaz yet until I'm on Yaz since I won't know I want a sex drive until I have one. lol

Yaz is almost the same exact pill, but you take it for 24 days instead of 21. It helps you have a shorter lighter period. And if you had a low sex drive with another bc, this will help with that, at least I find that it did.

wow! I didn't even know about the 24 instead of 21 thing. Interesting! And I didn't know about the lighter period! I thought that was supposed to happen naturally with ANY pill, but that is NOT the case with ME! I am DEFINITELY the exception!!

i'm only taking it to skip this month only, never been on birth control pills before, not having any side effects with this thank goodness. in the beginning i had a little nausea but that went away.

WOW, I just happened to notice this post. I happen to be one of the folks who recently switched to Yaz but the cost of the pills compared to the price of the Yasmin was alittle surprising. Did anyone else have to pay more??

I just got in an argument with FH last night about my not being in the mood.... AGAIN. It really is terrible. I can't wait to be done with my current Yasmine pack so I can switch to Yaz!!!

Im not currently on the pills i came off because of the lack of sex drive!! i went from everyday 3-4x day to once a week if lucky thought it was just me ....i need to try new pill

omg sarah me too and i've been meaning to switch from yasmin to something else for so long now-- NO sex drive but i'm afraid i'll have other side affects that i don't want-- yasmin is great except for that ONE part!
