FH and I went on vacation to Sandals in Dunns River, Jamaica and loved it!!!

We're going to the Bahamas in March, but I know of at least 2-3 '06 girls who went there this year already and loved it!

we're either staying at negril jamaica, or the whitehouse in jamaica. i've never been to any so im hoping either of these are fantastic. my friends that went on their honeymoon at the bahamas had very graphic things to say, but he said, 'the service was so good, if i wanted to take a dump in my pants, they'd clean it' so basically im guessing he said the service was great sorry to be gross! but hes the one that convinced me to go there.

FI and I stayed at Sandals in the Bahamas in 05' and we loved it so much we decided yesterday that we are going to Sandals in St. Lucia for our honeymoon!

me too!!! we decided on st. lucia b/c tahiti was too expensive for us!

We went to the Sandals Grande in St. Lucia!!!!!! THE BEST!!!!! Also, you can go to the other Sandals in St. Lucia!!!! Stay at 1, play at 3 is what they say.

FH took me to the Sandals Regency in St. Lucia. (I'm pretty sure that's the name of it....its the one with the golf course.) we LOVED it! we stayed there and got to enjoy the other properties on the island too. went to the other pools and restaurants.........it was great!

We aren't married yet, but we went to the Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica for my birthday & it was amazing. Its in the middle of nowhere but it was first class all the way. The spa was amazing too. The place just opened like a year ago so its the newest one. Its very laid back.
We went for a day to the Negril one & it was a TOTALLY different vibe. Much more of a party atmosphere at that one, and you are in a big town/city/whatever. That was like more jet skiiing, beach volleyball, DJ & boozing. Still fun, but much less intimate.
My FH went to the St Lucia one with his ex (grrrrrrr) and said it was amazing. he said the flight was hell but the natural setting was prettier than Whitehouse. He also said the rooms were bigger in St Lucia. It was also more expensive than Whitehouse.

We just came back from Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica and it was phenomenal. Be prepared though, the Montego Bay airport is 1 1/2 hours from there so you take a bus BUT once you do get there, gorgeous....and you can opt to have a butler for a little more money and he does EVERYTHING for you.....I can show you pics of what he did to our jacuzzi when we came back to the room one night! There are two others of the bed and the balcony at breakfast!!
stayed at the Sandals in the Bahamas (2 times) Grande St. Lucian (1 time) Neither for honeymoon, just vacation.
I prefer Bahamas... st lucia itself did not impress me, although the hotel was nice (besides the rats), I was did not like that there were only 2 resturants that were good (at Grande) and we did not want to travel to the other sites, too inconvient esp when you see what you are driving through.
although Ive heard great things about Whitehous in Jamaica

My FH and I are going to go to Sandals Bahamas. I hear nothing but great reviews, his sister went on her honeymoon, my mom went there and everyone else that goes loves it. I have been to Sandals Jamaica Royal Carribean, we liked it but didn't love it, the resort was a bit small and not too many restaurants but the staff was great, the room was pretty.
