Re: anyone in bayside
we looked @ 100 places in windsor oaks. it is very nice - a few things that i loved were - that it was very nice neighborhood, bayside is still a very good area in queens, and they are still one of the few co-op board that allows pets.
what i didn't like was - none of them have eat in kitchens - they have ample living rooms - which people use a piece of for their kitchen table - but to each his own, it just wasn't ideal for me. each place comes with parking (some 2 spots others 1) but they are in lots within the windsor oaks community - so you have no guaranteed parking and sometimes the closest lot is still a block or 2 away - and street parking isn't the easiest.
Also - this could be a pro or con depending on your liking - they have very long courtyards - so if you are looking at a place in the back - you have a LONG WALK (i was thinking of hauling laundry & groceries) - but you have a lot of privacy because you are off the street.
i would recommend you go look and see what you think. they are beautiful apartments and the maintenanceis very reasonable - though windsor oaks does not include electric.
good luck!!

Another good co-op community is Alley Pond. They allow pets (which not alot of them do) and it's a great area and very clean. FM me if you are interested in more info.
