Anyone in need of some ivory place cards
I am planning on printing my own place cards and finally found the color and style I want, but I had to buy a full ream of them which now makes me the proud owner of 1500 placecards! So I wanted to see if anyone would be interested in buying some from me. They are ivory color on 65# cardstock on 8.5x11 paper, prescored and computer compatible. They are plain cards, no border or anything. The full ream cost me $40 for 250 sheets (each sheet has 6 cards on it). So if you figure the math, that makes each sheet of 6 $.16. Would anyone be interested in taking some of these off my hands. To make this easy, what if I make them available in sets of 25 sheets (150 placecards) for $4?? Here is a picture of my sample. (Sorry, I don't own a digital camera, so I had to scan it). I have 8 sets of 25 available after I use what I need. (remember, each sheet has 6 place cards on it).150 placeards for $4....Can't beat that with a stick!!
Let me know if this will help any of you out who are looking to print your own cards! Send me a forum email! Thanks!!!

Re: Anyone in need of some ivory place cards
oh boy Texas...I will let you know. I am still deciding what exactly I am doing for place cards. But if I need traditional place cards I definitely want ivory and you have a great deal.
Thanks.

Re: Anyone in need of some ivory place cards
Doreen:Do you think I can print them out on a HP Photosmart printer? How long do you think it'll take for them to get to me by mail? Sorry for so many questions. But my engagement party is next Saturday and I would obviously need them by at least midweek next week so I can start them. If this is possible, I will take 150 of them. You can e-mail me at [email protected]
Thanks

Re: Anyone in need of some ivory place cards
Ok girls....how about this for a plan..25 sheets for:
Jenhos
RichsBride
Marcela
That would be 150 placecards each...so you can have some leftover for your first dinner party on your new fine china!
I can mail them out on Monday, regular mail, so you should all get them by Wedne-Thurs. Shall we say $1.50 for postage? Does that seem fair? So $5.50 for the 25 sheets. If you email me or forum mail me your address I will send you back my address and you can just mail me a check. Sound good? Remember....I know where you live (cyber-ly speaking! HA!)
My email is [email protected]. I don't have a computer at home, so i wont have access again to the site until Monday...

Re: Anyone in need of some ivory place cards
Oh, and to answer some questions, yes, I did them myself. Based on the size of the cards, I created a new label template in MS Word and printed them out. Then they are perferated and scored for easy tearing and folding. And as for the printer question, I am pretty clueless when it comes to that stuff..but I think it should be ok. The paper is 65# cover, which is usually ok in most printers.
