Anyone in Real Estate Sales?

Looking for a career change after the wedding.

Anyone know where I can start, maybe even part-time?

My friend and I were also interested in going into this field. Youy need to take the training course and then the test to get certified.

If you want more info about real estate sales, FM jvs77. She is an agent. She answered many of the questions that I had about the job.
Good Luck,
Scott

I'm licensed, but not very active. I manage a Co-operative motel, so I only sell co-ops. I can answer some questions if you want to FM me.

Yes does that require a person to be certified>? And what type of experience do you need if not?

yes there is a certification if you're doing the actual appraisals, but the position we're hiring for is more administrative

to become an appraiser, there's a 90 hour course to get your appraisal assistant license, then you work for a certified appraiser for 2 years before you get your own licence/certification

Do you work anywhere else besides?

I ask because I want to make a transition without going broke.

I work in Manhattan M-F, and live in E. Patchogue, and I will say, I am tired. I think I have to work and do RE, b/c I need medical benefits and I know the RE Broker does not need to provide any benefits, so if this is so, I may never be able to do it full time unless I am rolling in the cash.

The test that I took had a lot of Math on it, which none of us were expecting. My friend took it a couple of weeks ago and there was hardly any Math on hers. Just be prepared and you will be fine.

I have to take the State test, any day now. I took the 45 hour in October, so now I feel like I have to start all over!
Getting engaged really threw me off!!!
