Anyone know a good florist...?+

My catering hall recommends, 'My Secret Garden', 'Spitz & Peck', and 'James Cress Florist'...anyone know anything about them...good or bad?

Any other suggestions?

I just met with James Cress, high quality, but expensive - let me know if you meet with them.

I met with Spitz and Peck and JAmes Cress, both were expensive, but it was obvious that they are reputable and do good work. S&P was less willing to work with us on a tight budget, but Mr. Cress was quite flexible. However, I went with Burton's and would definitely recommend them.

I booked James Cress. I found them to be reasonable.

I have heard mixed reviews of Spitz & Peck. They are pricey, and very popular. I think that they basically started taking on more affairs then they could handle, so the results became fairly unpredictable.

We used Burtons & got a very reasonable price.The flowers were gorgeous and the people were very nice. I would highly recommend them.

My aunt used Spitz & Peck & the bouquet came & the flowers were almost dying. In their defense though, they gave her a new bouquet right away.

Do a search on Spitz and Peck- they have not gotten the best reviews on here, it was enough to make me not want to look at them... SonicStef If I recall, kind of got burned with them!

I used James Cress and HIGHLY recommend them. My flowers were GORGEOUS!!!!
They were pricey, but not as pricey as Flowers by Brian.
I got more for my $$$$, and Mr Cress is so nice to work with.

I am using Flowers by Brian but I used to work at the Milleridge and there florist is great too.

There is a florist locted in Centerport which does very nice work ... Buds to boquets I think

I absolutely loved the work Flowers by Brian did for our Sept. 2001 wedding. If I recall right, they were the first vendor we booked, after signing with John Anthony's and getting the Church .. and they were the first and only florist we saw. The flowers were stunning, lasted for a long time after the wedding and the staff was so incredible to work with. I highly recommend them!! We dealt with Lisa and Bobbi.

My sister used Spitz and Peck 12 years ago at her wedding, and her flowers were dying all night too. Weird.

My flowers were not dying but they were not able to do what I asked despite very specific instructions AND they charged more than other florists AND they were just plain rude at times.
