Anyone know a good place to find day of undergarments?
I've looked at Victoria's Secret & Frederick's of Hollywood but don't see anything that I like. I'm also wondering if maybe I should go somewhere that can custom make a strapless corset. Has anyone purchased or going to purchase corset/boustierre? If so, could you please tell me where you purchased it? I live in Suffolk County so anything in Suffolk or Nassau would be fine. Also, anyone wearing undergarments...are you wearing white? I'm interested in possibly light blue or red but didn't know if that would be considered 'okay'.

AMJA is an 07 bride-to- be & she usually posts on the 07 boards. She ownes Sweet Lace Lingere & they will custom fit undergarments. You should repost this on the 07 board so she can see your question or you can also FM her.

I plan on going there around Feb b/c my wedding is still 9 months away but many of the other 07 brides have gone there.

I didn't wear any undergraments except for [personalized] undies and a strapless bra! me and my mom FOUGHT to death about the panty hose, and I refused to wear them! also, my dress was a corset, so that was enough for me. . . any good bridal salon will have them or suggest places to go. i know bridal reflections definitely had that stuff.

I think Mary Corsetiere makes custom bras, etc.

got mine originally from georgettes but it looked horrible under the dress....got one from phyllis at bridal elegance that was PERFECT!

Same exact thing happened to me...The bra I bought at Georgettes wasn't the right one and Phyllis got one for me when I went to try on my dress. She was great.
