I am getting married in Sept. 2007. Does anyone know of a videographer who is just starting out or a friend of a friend? We can only afford $500 total for this vendor. Our budget is like 8K. Any help out there?

Your best bet is craigslist. I always see photo and film students offering there services for experience.

Halo video offers some budget packages. Look into him. I know a few brides have used him and were happy with what he offered.
$300 may be on the low side, but you never know.
Good Luck!

if you didn't book hoto yet either you may want to check out Taylorstudios.easyphotoview.com, they're who I'm using & I got a great rate for both albums, prints, ty-cards, & engagement shoot

What are you looking for with your $500 budget? A complete video or just the raw footage of your wedding day? I will ask around and see if I know anyone. I think I know someone who does videograpy for a living that could come and shoot your wedding, but not sure if he would including editing in that price. FM me if you want more info. HTH!!
