Anyone know.... (also posted in 08')

any churches in the Islip area? I was going to have my wedding at St. Marcs, however, I was reading that they do not hold weddings on Sunday. And I am a little annoyed with the price.

I do need either a non denominational church, or one that does not really follow the rules. FH has never been baptised or anything, and we will not go thru the process to get him converted.

Can anyone help me?

Try the United Methodist Church of Bay Shore. They have married non-methodists in the past, and I am pretty sure you don't have to be baptised or anything. (I am also very partial to this church because I go there, but...) Anyway, the people are very nice, and I am sure if you call you would get all the answers to your questions. (and they are very pretty and cozy inside - has that old church charm)
