Anyone know any marketing positions out there?

I don't want to search at work but do you know off hand anyone that is hiring for marketing? Preferably in LI would be nice...

what happened?

Hmm where to begin…
She is a nice person. She really is. Her negative traits are that she is an anal person and wants everything perfect and done asap. Which in a way I understand. I am like that to a degree.
I am just really tired of her giving me projects that she has held on to for over 2 months and then it’s a rush! A rush of what? You held on to it so now I have to bust my butt to get it done. Then she proceeds to proofread things as I am prepping a job to go to press, and she finds a mistake!! AND she had already approved it. So what happens? Wanda has to make changes b/c she said they must be done now not at press, and pretty much the world is going to come to an end if its not fixed. So I have to re-collect everything, re-burn another CD, it goes on…

So of course this happened on Thursday afternoon. We were allowed to leave the office at 3:00 pm. One of the very few perks in this freakin’ office. Thursday afternoon at 2:30 pm, she decides to proofread a job that is live on the website and an e-mail blast will be released. Soooo guess what happens? There is an error!! AGAIN!! Guess who stuck around with the Web guy till 3:15 in the office? ME!! What does she do, tells me this HAS to be changed, tells the Web people it has to be updated and LEAVES!!! W T F???????

Do I even get so much as a thank you on this? NOPE. She says I know the web dept is mad at me but this has to be changed. WHAT ABOUT ME??? Do you really think I want to be here an additional 15 minutes b/c you didn’t proofread something before hand properly and approved it for press? I was so furious at her. I didn’t even say anything to her. Just asked her for the changes and that was it. This morning she is in a hissy fit b/c she found more mistakes. So now guess who has to run to our Production Dept, and tell them not to prep the job for press? ME again!!!
