I can get online but when I go to check my mail on aol or optima it sends me to this white page that says can not find server. This has been going on for a week now. I've tried restoring my computer to another date, I've tried disconnecting my optima tower and reconnecting it, I've gone into tools and tried resetting to my defaults but nothing. Helpppppppp please it says that I have over 100 emails. TIA
I dont know how to disable cookies and what is that?

i don't go on aol anymore cause i have a lot of problems with it.. i just check my email at aol.com on internet explorer or mozilla. I load AIM to talk too cause i give up on AOL.
does internet explorer work?? if disabling cookies doesnt work i would see if that does just to see if its AOL

I dont have an aol acct anymore either I have optima online but I cant get into either mail. I dont know how to disable the cookies can someone help me.

mGo to tools ( on top of screen) Internet options privacy tab move lever to low
That is how you disable the cookies. I am not sure if that will make everything work though...I will keep my fingers crossed....

Anytime I have a computer problem I go to the forums on a website called techguy.org. Its free they just want donations but you dont have to if you dont have the money. They've helped me get rid of viruses, fix a screen and speaker problem, etc. Check it out, its awesome...

Instead of disableing cookies, you may want to try just deleting the cookies already stored in your computer as well as your Temporary Internet Files, then restarting your comp.....sometimes that works for me.

Great thanks! I will try them all until something hopefully works. I've tried the optima online tech support but it wont work it sends me to the cant find server page like with the emails.

Did you try disabling your firewalls? Sometimes that can prevent you from accessing online websites, etc.

Okay. So far I've tried everything and it's still not working but I did notice that the phone cord that goes from the tower to my phone is split but my phone still works and I can still access all websites just not my mail or if I go into a vendors site and try to email them it comes up cant find server Im going to try changing the cord and have DH call optima.
