DH and I are thinking about expanding our search into CT. It seems like our money will go a little further. Does anyone know anything about the area?

My godparents have a lake house there and it is a beautiful area. Actually, my cousin got married there -- at the Candlewood Inn. And it is not too far from NYC or Long Island. Good luck in your search.

Some of my family is in the Danbury area. you will def. get more for your $$ there. I don't know too much about specific areas, it is a/b 1hour and some to the city so not really too far either! Good luck!
