They are great. one of the top districts on LI.

I noticed that there are 2 districts #2 and I think #12, Am I correct?

Is there a difference between districts?

Syosset scool district is only district #2... I don't think #12 is part of syosset..

Wacky, are you looking at the mlsli website?

Friends of mine are househunting, and they asked me the same thing yesterday. There was a home in Syosset on the website that listed # 12 as the school district. We're pretty sure it's a typo.

I have friends who graduated from Syosset, and a friend with a child who just started elementary school there. It's a great school district-among the best on the island, in the state, and probably in the country.

Newsday has lots of school information in the Classified/homes for sale section of their website.
