FH is a paramedic and firefighter and I thought it would be cute to get a cake with a firetruck on it or something like that. I would love to find a place that actually can make the cake in the shape of a firetruck. Went to Waldbaums and stop and shop and they can make a pic but not the shape - any suggestions??? Thanks!!

I am not sure of the name of the place but its were hey cookie is now located and it has a new name, its on Hempstead turnpike in levittown the phone number is 516 796 3033. If you take a look at the website it has a cake in the shape of an airplane so I am sure they can make a firetruck. I'm getting the airplane. Hey Cookie

Hey Cookie no longer exists - it is now part of Dortoni's on Hempstaed Tpke in Levittown. I spoke w/ Michelle from Hey-Cookie a few months ago and she told me a yankee stadium cake for approx. 100 people would be $150.

Try Riesterer's bakery in West Hempstead. It is a family run bakery that has been around for many years. They can pretty much make any cake you ask them to - and they are delicious.

I just called and that number has been changed to 516-796-3033.
The address has changed too. Its: 32-64 Hemsptead Turnpike. I think she said they are in Levittown.
She said just to bring in a photo and they should have no problem doing a mini cooper.

try Dortoni's in Levittown...I had a bowling pin made for FH 25th birthday...It came out beautiful! It came in the shape & all..I have a pic at home if you would like me to post...

i also think you should try dortonis. i had an islanders cake made for my dh and it came out great

i've been going to dortoni's for as long I remember, my family would travel onver a hour to get pastrys and cakes
