I keep getting this 1-800 # calling my cell - it's weird, 'cause no one has my number except my friends/family. Don't use it for any business/school things.

I always miss the call, 'cause its at weird times, and they never leave a message. Could it be a telemarketer?
I googled the # and came up w/ nothing, and no one answers when I call it back.
Anyone have any ideas?

I just called the number and someone picked up and then hung up.
You might want to register your cell on the do not call registry.

you can try whitepages.com too -they have a reverse phone search that usually works pretty well when I use it. I don't know if it works on 1-800 numbers though.

Who knows.... sounds like its a telemarketing thing - they might not get incomingl calls or you're ringing an extension that is not always covered by someone.
Definately report them, and if they do call again when you are available, just pick up and say you are on the Do Not Call registry...they'll get off very quickly and apologize. I never hear from them after that.
