Anyone know if DSL is available in Nassau?

Since Optonline is going up to $45 per month in the new year I was wondering if DSL is available in Nassau County and if it cost less. Anyone know? How is the service?

Wow $45! Sheesh, I think AOL has their own DSL service... not sure though.

Good idea! I checked though and it's not available in the area yet. Verizon and AT&T aren't available yet either. I can't go back to dial up (NO WAY!) and FH needs the Internet b/c of his job. We may just have to pay the higher prices for Cable yet again!

I'm sorry.

I'm using dial up right now at home, I wouldn't be able to go back to that either! It's aggravating!

Thanks! We looked at Earthlink and their DSL is $50 per month. Oh well I was hoping their would be another option for broadband.
