Anyone know if Macy's will match prices on Wedding Gowns??

Found two that I love but I know that I could get them cheaper somewhere else! Anyone ever tried???

Macy's matched the wedding center price for me. I saved about $500.

Macys matched the lynbrook bridal center price for my gown which included alterations--I saved about $250.

Yes, Macy's Manhasset matched another salon's price.

the will only go down to a certain number. I found my gown MUCH cheaper, as well as my BM dresses at another store. Macy's went almost as low, but wouldn't go all the way down to the price.

WOW this is good to know! I am having an issue because I loved my saleslady at Macys...and I have been then 2x in the last week! I would love to give her the commission BUT I know I could find it somewhere else cheaper...this is why I asked!

they actually matched the price i found it for on netbride which was half of their price. the deal though was that when it came in I had to pick it up and get the alterations done elsewhere! I saved (well, my mom) haha saved over $700!!! never hurts to try--all they can say is 'NO!'
