I have heard rumors about this chapel and I would love to see it if it exists. We are moving our ceremony and I would love to have it on the grounds in a chapel.

I know for certain there is a chapel onthe campus - but watch out it is a Catholic chapel so you can run into problems there - I don't know exactly where it was - I would try tontact St. Johns because Ben told me about it but did not too much

I don't really care if it's Catholic because I was raised Catholic and so was JT. We didn't really want to get married in a Catholic church, but for convenience sake, it may be worth it.

ETA: Thanks by the way!

Ok, just spoke to St. John's and they won't let us have our ceremony there because we're not alumni

Because in terms of pictures and a timeline, it doesn't make sense. Also , I'm a teacher and SOOOO many of my students keep asknig if they will be able to come to the church. (They don't know that I was planning on getting married at the Bourne). It's important to me to have them there.

sorry to hear you can't use it!

How do you prove that you're an alumni - do you have to bring your diploma?

Can current students use it? I think St. John's has adult ed classes that aren't expensive - if you can register for a class and get an i.d. card, maybe that will be enough to use the place.

Good luck!

Hmm, it's funny that you say this because I was just thinking before that how would anyone know if I was or wasn't an alumni? Would they reallly check? But this is a good idea, maybe I will find out if I take a class if they will accomodate me....Hmm...thanks for the idea!

I think you have to graduate from there to be considered a member of the alumni. A guy i work with is a alumni member from st. john's and when he got married at the chapel they checked to make sure he was a member.
