Anyone know - if you're on the Pill and get preggo

what happens if you keep taking the pill? are there any side effects?? how does your body handle it??

I dont know the answer to this - but do know that if there is any inkling at all that you are pregnant, you should call your doctor immediately. The pill is dangerous to the fetus of course. So make sure you find out asap!

i took a HPT 2 weeks ago and it came back negative, but i still feel yucky. i was on antibiotics in december, so my january period only lasted about 2 days, instead of the usual 4-5. i chalked the light period up to the antibiotics and being really sick and didn't really think about it. now i am noticing that everyday after i take the pill, i get a splitting headache. i wonder if it's my body's way of saying - don't take the pill!!

Are you aware that most antibiotics negate the effectiveness of the pill?? If your doctor knew you were on the pill he or she should have told you that you must use a second form of birth control while taking antibiotics.

But I do think that I read recently that taking the pill without realizing you are pregnant is not as bad as most people think it is, but obviously once you know you are pregnant you ned to stop taking it.

i knew that, but that's the other weird thing - i was sooo sick while on the antibiotics, that DH and i weren't doing anything that could remotely get me pregnant! plus i was traveling for the 2 weeks before i got sick, so we weren't doing anything then either. not to be TMI, but we were only 'together' once or twice that whole month between my business trips and my sickness.

my period is due again this monday. i guess that will be the ultimate test.
