Anyone know of a decent tuxedo place in Queens/Brooklyn ?
FH and I are planning on looking for tuxes on Sat. We live in Howard Beach so Queens or Brooklyn would both work.
I can look it up on the internet but just thought I would go with a recommendation instead.

Don't go to the Tux place by the North Channel Bridge....my brother used them for his wedding and sizes were screwed up. The bride's father's pants were too short on him. They stopped just above his ankle...ridiculous. Also, some of the white shirts were dirty with ring around the collar.

If you are willing to travel to Bayside - check out Bell Formal on Bell Blvd(next to the karate place)
The owner(Spiros) gives great recommendations and was a pleasure to work with.. has the same deal as other places where the grooms tux is free and so on..

Hi--I'm new here..I don't even have pictures up yet ...But I wanted to tell you Howard Beach Formals (obviously in HB) is great! The owner Tommy (young guy) is very helpful and has everything. His prices are great too. Hope I helped

I just moved to HB 2 months ago so I didn't even know there was a tux place right around the corner. We will definitely check it out.

I new there was one nearby! I also posted on the 08 boards about the Tux Shop in Glendale/Ridgewood.

Thanks! Your FH will def. be happy there. Welcome to Howard Beach too! I don't know who you have planned to go to for your hair, but Claudines (also in HB) is great too! Claudine herself is amazing and that's who I plan to use for my wedding.

I was going to mention this as well. I think they are located on 39 ave and Bell.

Not sure where the North Channel Bridge is--is this by Bell Blvd? If so, I think FH may have a problem lol
