that has large sizes to try on for BM. It seems as though all the samples are so small.

Try Jamine dresses..their samples now fit all sizes due to their zipper system.. (www.jasminebridal.com)i know my daughters wedding in great neck has dresses with this, i tried mine there, but also lillettes had some...i dont necessarily recommend either to purchase the dress, but for tryons, there are options other than davids

RK bridal... gorgeous stuff there!
I think that sample dress thing (where the average american woman is 14, the samples are all size 10, and fits well on brides who are 6's) is a plot to heighten our insercurities.... the industry is evil!

My girls went to David's Bridal to fit a general style that flattered tham and then we went to RK to find something similar that they liked. They were not able to try anything on at RK but they knew what would look good based on what they had tried on at David's. Just a suggestion.

We did the same my MOH is a 0, one of my BM is a 18..we went to davids bridal to get 'an idea'

PS: I saw your other post about 2 piece BM dresses. Thats what we are doing because of the contrast in the BM's sizes. 2 girls are 8/10 2 are 4/6 2 are 18/20 All the girls are wearing the same colore and A line skirts but with different tops that flatter their size and shape. We used Impressions and a few of the styles are below:
We all wore 2 piece Alexis for another girl's wedding and the skirts did sit high and everyone looked great!

The Wedding Center in Commack had a lot of larger sized and plus size wedding gowns to try on. I'm not sure if it is the same way with the BM dresses.
