Where do you live? I often go to the bars in Smithtown (Nappertandys, Horse & Jockey). They are OK, but it is good because they are close to home for me.

Any Irish Bar is going to be crowded. McCarthys in Centereach; Irish Times in Holbrook; Napper Tandy's in Smithtown; Tara's in Port Jeff.

There's Napper's in Northport too, along with the one is Smithtown on Main Street.Down in Huntington, ton's of bars... Blu Hanu, Lilly's, ect...
Tara's in Port Jeff is good.
