I know this isn't Syosset/Woodbury but it's not all that far- I've heard of people taking pics inside EAB Plaza (although I don't think it's called that anymore) - on Hempstead Tpke near Nassau Coliseum. I wish I could be more help!!!

Call your photographer and see if they can recommend any sites. I'll see what I can find through a search for you.

You know what? Your limo driver/limo company might know some too! When I met with the guy I booked for limos, he gave me a bunch of suggestions...you never know!!!

It drizzled on my day and we still took pics outside - in fact, the lighting is better when its drizzly and overcast....

Okay, here is what I'm finidng:
Old Westbury Gardens allows for the mansion to be used for indoor photography starting in late Fall. Call and see if they're avail.
EAB Building - Uniondale
Lobby of the Hotel you're staying at, or guests are staying at
Also contact the Sands Point Preserve -listed in either Sands Point or Port Washington. The main house (Hempstead House)is beautiful with many rooms. I did a live television show there for Channel 12 News for their Holiday Special -they have something like 14 fireplaces, beautiful wood paneling-absolutely fantastic for indoor photos.l It is worth contacting them to find out their policy.
Dowling College
Vanderbuilt Mansion
Holtsville Ecology Center
Hyatt Wind Watch hotel on Vets Highway. No charge for pics indoor or out
