Anyone know someone in the Long Island DA's office?
My fh and I live in a coop where we are attached to our next door neighbor. Apparently our neighbor exposed himself about a year ago to some kids in Merrick and we are trying to find out what is going on with the case. We know he keeps going back to court but we can't find out what is going on and he says everything has been resolved but it is a lie. I want to know if I am living next to a convicted pervert!!!! We have called the court and they can't tell us anything. I don't have any connections there, can anyone help??? thanks

sorry cant help, but isnt there a law that was passed that you can find out if there are were people who were convicted of sex crimes living in your neighborhood.
Correct me if I am wrong, but I think its Megans law.
If that is the law, you should be able to find out some information about this guy and what happened

The problem is he has not been convicted yet and therefore will not show up on those data bases or be listed under Megan's law. We want to know what is going on and when they are going to find him guilty or what. Thanks Theresa for checking. If you need the info I can FM it to you.

abc, I'll throw it past my dad, but I doubt he'll have much info on it, if any at all.
How long ago did the whole court process start?

I think he committed the act last August, a year ago (2001) and the court proceedings go on about every month from there. I can see his next court date on webcrims but it doesn't give you any information. He is major sleeze!!! The article was actually in Newsday, he was an Asst principal in Brooklyn and now according to something posted publicly on the web he is in the district office working on suspension until the case is decided. He was at the Kings supermarket in Merrick and flashed some teenage boys because he said he got mad because they were making fun of him. PLEEEZEEE a 44 year old man having to flash some kids because he got angry. He is disgusting.
