Anyone know what kind of glue will hold cardstock to satin ribbon? I'm just starting my DIY projects and I'm already stumped!!!

I would use a bit of hot glue to be certain it stays.

i use hot glue for everything. Just be careful of all the extra string things that are made when using hot glue.

dont use a glue gun. i did once and the ribbon soaks up the glue and you see it. they have these glue dots you can find them in ac moore or michaels they work great.

HAHAHAHAHA we tried EVERY type of glue to either hold it or not look terrible through the ribbon end ended up with double stick tape I kid you not!

I second not using a glue gun, a lot of ribbon is plastic based so it ands up melting with the heat of the glue... I always use double stick tape.

Please don't use any form of liquid glue!!!! It will ruin your ribbon and it will look glued. Definitely try double stick tape/adhesive runner. You can find it in the scrapbooking aisle at Michael's or Ac Moore. It's also SUPER easy to apply and use. Also, buy the permanent one. If you buy the ones with refillable cartridges you will only need to buy the cartridge next time you run out. Once you start using it, you'll use it for everything. HTH!

If you use the tiniest bit of hot glue it wont look bad. I have used it and you cannot tell. you do have to be really careful and only use a small amount. I would try different things and see what comes out the best.

GLUE DOTS!!! Glue Gun can get messy and some glue can get on your invite...I used glue dots and they are really strong...you can find them at Micheals!
