Anyone know what to do:

So me and FH decided we were getting married on May 25th of THIS month!!!! at town hall.

and then next year do the real wedding.

Does anyone know what I have to do? where do I find the info?

You have to get the marriage license and I guess go down to town hall and talk to them. Set up the day.

I'm pretty sure you just have to go down to town hall, but I don't really know - you can prob. google search it if no one knows for sure

well we wanted to get married from the min we met..... but..... FH was married.... seperated from his ex for a long time.. and it was a crazy young marrage to begin with. so we couldnt.

So we finally got the divorce final! We were hoping it was going to final on Dec. 21 bc we always wanted to get married on that day bc it was the day we first met. But it didnt work out that way....

Say May 25th.... our REAL wedding Day! So we are going to do it!!!!!!! it is going to be so exciting.

My outlook is this: i want to get married bc i love FH, not to put on show for everyone. I feel like that is the only reason we are havign this BIG wedding.

So us doing it on our own is what we really wanted. But of course we cant tell anyone bc then it will make the 'real' wedding rediculous...lol

its funny. But i can not wait. i am so freaking excited!!!!!

I would like to tell my parents, but i think we are jsut going to keep it under our belt. I know one day, i am just going to be like,,,,, I am married!!!!!

But i am telling my step-sister and her husband, so they can sign our witness papers. other than that.. just our friend... LIW girls!!!! MUAH!!!!!

I think thats awesome! I completely understand where you are coming from. I remember reading about the troubles you guys were having. So congrats! You'll have to let us know when you are officially, unofficially married!

WELL:

i had major drama with my wedding band. we had bought what we thought would be the perfect band. it needed to be sized..which we went two weeks ago to do so, and ..... IT IS HORRIBLE!!!!
it looks so bad. so i have to have one custom made and it will not be ready in time. we are going to try and work it out as soon as possible... i am so sad!!! but FH will be wearing his!!

that is SO exciting!!! and sounds really romantic to me. but wont people know you 2 are already married if they see him wearing his wedding band?

Knowing me, i'd forget. what if you both wore rings on a different finger for now. I think that'd be hard.
