Anyone know where we can find out about grants

in Suffolk County? Any links would be appreciated.

Closing cost assistance grants? I thought you already closed? We found out about a great agency after we closed, so they were of no help to us, but if you are still in the looking for a mortgage and closing cost assistance stage, I can FM you the info. tomorrow...Good luck!

we live in DH's grandparent's house. they passed away 5 years ago. we have been staying here and paying the taxes on the house. we are looking to buy it now. just wondering if there are any grants for 1st time homebuyers or I even heard that Brookhaven township has grants. My BIL got $6,000 towards his frist purchase. I wanted to know of a more general one ... not for a specific township.

I found the info! website link . We spoke to Gina Mazzara, and her number is 631-471-1215, x128. She was excellent, and all services are free. Only wish we found them BEFORE closing! Good luck!

We used her and she was great. Unfortunately, we didn't qualify for any grants but she was able to get us an excellent interest rate. We also took the first time homebuyers class which I found to be pretty helpful. Good luck!
