They have a Maggie Sottero dress that I most likely will get--and the price they gave me was similar to the price on bridesave.com---HOw come they are so much cheaper than other bridal stores? Should I stay away or does this sound safe? LOL

I know when it comes to their flowers they are a whole sale florest, therefore they can sell you the flowers at wholesale price. Both of my sisters used them and their flowers were absolutely beautiful. If you go with them for flowers they can cut prices on dresses for you as well. I wouldn't be worried!
I went there yesterday. They didnt have much of a selection of dresses but Karen, who was a real sweetheart, said they are a wholesale distributor of bridal dresses. She encouraged me to go to other salons and call her back for a quote. She said if I order my dress from her she would give me another 15-20% off on my BM gowns. BM alterations were capped at $45 and my dress has an alteration fee of $65 and an additional fee of $65-80 for the bustle.

Yeah that was another thing she mentioned -- no charge for alterations......but a maximum of $45-65 for the bustle---thats nothing compared to most places, u know???

I am using them for flowers, but had my dress already and just went up there to look-and they said whatever they don't have you can call them with a designer and style # and get you a great price--they really do it too!

I got my dress at Burtons and they did an amazing job. I was very happy with the service. They just don't mark up their prices like other bridal places. It is small upstairs and their main business is the flowers. I think they keep the prices low so they sell more dresses.
I really didn't need any alterations, the only thing they had to do was pinch it in at the bust line. They didn't even charge me for that. They only charged me for the french bustle. Plus when i went there they were having a special and when you bought your dress it included a free headpiece (tiara) and veil.
I would go back in a second. Also if you get your bm dresses there i think they give you a discount. I didn't get mine b/c they couldn't order Lazaro

I ordered my Maggie dress there also and it was $250 less than the cheapest salon They are so sweet there and also one of my bm got her dress there for a previous wedding [L=http://www.burtonsbridals.com]

I ordered my dress there as well. So far it has been a good experience. The dress I bought is $350 less there than another salon that i looked at. I also will be getting my BM dresses there and my FG dress. They give a 15-20% discount on them. My mom will be ordering her dress there too, she also gets the discount.

I know a couple of girls who got their dresses at Burtons and was told the same thing. Go somewhere else, try on the dress you want and they will order it for you at a discount since they are a wholesaler.

I just picked out my dress the other day at a bridal store in Balwin but had yet to order it. It's a Maggie Sottero and the Balwin store told me $950. plus alterations. I was planning on going there Monday morning and ordering it. After reading all of your posts I decided to call Burtons and they sell the dress for $570.
That's a huge difference!
I'll check them out considering I haven't ordered my flowers yet and have heard good things.

I just got back from Burtons... LOVED THEM!!! I found a dress that I liked ... but then I went to another place and found one I LOVED... So I called Carol back with the designer and style # and she can get it for me for $100.00 less than the other place. Plus, the other place wanted to charge me $250 for alterations!!! I am sticking with Burtons! Carol and Karen are absolute sweethearts!

I love Karen, she's so funny. I got my BMs dresses there for 60 cheaper than bridal reflections and my dress was a real steal. I'm also getting all my flowers from them.
