anyone know why Russos won't work with Pedestals??
My friend is getting married at Russo's in March and I reccomended Vito at Pedestals to her..and as soon as she walked into Pedestals- they told her they don't work with Russos...anyone know why?

Maybe your friend misunderstood what they said....bc I am getting married at Russo's and I went to Pedestals.... I did not end up booking with Pedestals but they knew I was getting married at Russo's and never said it was a problem.

Maybe what they meant was that they are no longer a house vendor? Did they say that she can't use them? That's very weird. It could actually go either way though.. maybe Pedestals doesn't want to work with Russo's.

I know one of Pedastals stores used to be across the street....often halls recc. people who they get $$ to recc. maybe Russo's dosent get $$ to recc. Pedastals so they recc. someone else...but I dont think theyd stop Pedastals from doing flowers bc I actually know someone who got maried a Russo's and used Pedastals (unless of course there was some big falling recently lol IDK) she should ask if she can use them...

There was a lot of drama like this on the boards about 6 or 9 months ago. Apparently at that time it was true - if you are at Russos you can't use Pedestals b/c of some drama b/w the owners of both places. Some bride that was booked at Russo's also booked Pedestals, and Pedestals told her it was fine and not to worry but when Russo's found out they said no way. She confronted Pedestals and then they acknowledged it and gave her a refund. Pretty sure that's how the story went, you may want to do a search for that thread...

Sorry, I don't know why. Flowers by Brian and Stefan's are their in-house vendors.
I just found out they are no longer an in-house vendor at my hall. I do plan to ask Vito. So, I just hope things go well.
