Anyone live in a houseboat??

if so, do you like it?? the houseboat on a barge, not the mobile ones!! iv'e seen some for sale and curioius about them

Not me but my friend does in NJ, he LOVES it and said he could never live in a regular house again.

my Dh and I saw that one on saturday. it was pretty cool!! it had 2 decks and 3 levels. but there is a boat slip fee of $550 you pay every month and you pay $20 a month for them to pick up your garbage, plus taxes and utilities. i'm better off getting a house on land!! plus, we felt the whole house move when a boat went by!

Yeah you gotta get one with a solid bulk head not a fiberglass one....

There was one on that site for $75k a while ago and the realtor that was showing us a house was actually going to that open house after and she told me that it was solid....A boat could fly by and it didnt move...
