FH works in Jersey City and we sometimes talk about moving closer to his job. Anyone live in jersey or have suggestions of neighborhoods to check out......he wants to be about 30-40min tops from jersey city. TIA!!
Jersey City is really building up, so there are places worth looking at there. A few of my friends moved from Long Island and Hoboken to Jersey City. I live in Hoboken and absolutely love it. I've also heard great things about Weehawken and Fort Lee.
We live in Hackensack. It's a really pretty little town and not a bad commute to Jersey City.
My best friend lives (and works) in Jersey City. She likes it. Her biggest complaints are there are no convenient laundry mats and it is really quiet on the weekends. But it is very convenient to the city & Hoboken and it has some good places to eat, beautiful views of the city. It depends on what you are looking for. I also have a lot of co-workers that live in Hoboken and they love it.
I lived in Rutherford when I was in college, I loved that area. close to everything!
thanks ladies....its tough to try to move somewhere when you have no idea where in the area is a good area....i appreciate the input!!!
