Anyone look at Photographers & Videographers...$$$ ...???
Hi guys. This is the one of the things I havent looked at yet. I know we are all on different budgets but I was wondering if you guys could tell me around what you were paying for what services so I could have an idea...THANKS so much for your help

Thanks!. This is the one area that I have no idea about. Everyone always talks about dresses and flowers. I have no idea what to expect price wise....

Yeah I think its because all the girls pretty much booked with their photo/video people and are now up to dresses and flowers. But its no problem just post and we will answer. Just remember also that the more you add to your package at the photo place the more it will be.

I booked Visual concepts for 4500 for photography, but they also had a smaller package for around 3. I went to a bridal showcase recently and the photographer had a package for 3999 which included photo AND video. I cannot for hte life of me remember the name, but when I talk to my MOH later I'll see if she remembers.

I haven't booked photo yet either.
We have been to like 5 places - we are going to Patken tomorrow.
Now I am thinking of going with Duet who we saw first :( but we didn't see a video there since we didn't decide until after that we wanted video too.
I feel like this has been a draining process :(

I know $$ is awkward to talk about but it helps to get a range before I blindly walk in some where. It seems like everyone on this site between the posts and FM I got were in the $4-$6 range. I'm sure including different number of people and different options but good to know. THANKS for all your help ladies!!

The main costs are this:
1 photographer vs. 2 (second is usually a photojournalist)
number of pages in your album
Parents albums or not
If you can cut down on any of these items, you can def find quotes closer to 4k - the more pages, etc. you will be closer to 6k

That sounds great- what was included in your package - if you don't mind me asking.
We are talking to the video guy tomorrow. The photo and video guys are brothers of a good friend of mine- but their proced still werent that great.

I always though velvet was more $ for some reason and I kinda ruled them out but love the pics I've seen of theirs
