ANyone look back on their 1st post here on LIW...

I just reminisced on my first 2 posts here on LIW it was so strange i remembr turning here for advice about booking Chateau La Mer, and how helpful everyone was from the beginning. You all helped me make the best decision and told me to follow my heart and i did.

I wrote in my 2nd 'post wow i have so much time before the wedding, will it ever come' and now look at me! 16 days ahhhhhhhh

take a little trip down LIW memory lane it was cute

How do you see your first post? I thought the search only yields the latest 300 posts?

Here's mine from 1/5/04 in response to a post about no kids at the wedding:

My FI and I have already talked to my FMIL about this and she's great--totally on board and willing to handle any of their relatives who might have a problem with it. Our feeling is that we're having a Saturday night black tie wedding and it's not an appropriate place for a child--we're not even having a flowergirl or ring bearer. I think the fact that there aren't even children in the wedding party shows how serious we are about this. We're also paying for a large portion of the wedding and, quite honestly, I'm not about to pay $100 for a kid to eat at my wedding.
