Anyone looking to buy a coop? NYC commuters?
My FSIL is having the hardest time selling her co-op. I thought I would give it a try here on the boards for her.
The co-op is in East Rockaway at the Centre Ave stop on the Long Beach line. The coop is directly behind the train station and very convenient for a commuters! It is a quick 5-min walk to the station and about a 30 minute commute to Penn. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath with a large eat in kitchen and is in a nice, safe neighborhood.
Their asking price is $159k. Which is significantly less than what they had paid when they first bought it.
