Anyone Make a Complaint BBB

Has anyone ever made a complaint through the BBB online. If so can you share your experience.

Also did you send the company in question a letter stating your complaint.

we did! it was a complaint against Capital One credit card and after 7 month of fighting with them with absoulutelly no results and dealing with the rudests people possible, my DH filed a complaint on line! they responded within 30 days and the matter was handled! they are all afraid of BBB!
We didn't write anseparate letter. On line was enough!

I have. I had some cousins from FL staying with me a few years ago (2 girls ages 13 and 14), they called the psychic line about 10 times. I had no idea, when I got my phone bill and saw a whopping $897.00 bill I freaked out. i called the co, they wouldnt help, I called verizon and told them, they only took off 2 call, still had a huge bill so I said I didnt make these calls I'm not paying. After a year I get a call from a collection agency and decided fine I'll pay. I gave the woman my info and she deducted $672.00 and $45.00 for a svc fee. She told me it was be off my bill in 2 cycles. 2 cycles, 3. I call them back and I keep getting this womans machine I must have left 25 messages (DOCUMENT EVERYTHING!!! VERY IMPORTANT). After 5 months I went on the BBB website, made my complaint (did not have to send an additional letter by mail). After 3 weeks the collection lady called and apolgized and lo and behold my account was clear on the next bill.

Ok I feel hopeful.

We had a moving company help us move yesterday and they were terrible.

They asked me to sign a sheet with charges and I did. The sheet did not have a copy for me to get. Then the mover added charges after I signed the sheet.

Worst of all one of the movers used our bathroom ( we moved into a new house by the way) without my permission and did more than number 1 and then wrote 'poop' on our walls.

This is a very well known company. I called a manger and he cursed me out.

I just finish filing online. I can not believe it. I am still like this

I can't believe this!!

Worst of all one of the movers used our bathroom ( we moved into a new house by the way) without my permission and did more than number 1 and then wrote 'poop' on our walls.

That's horrible!!
I have made a complaint to the BBB online. They forwarded my complaint on to the store to respond and they did so. You definitely don't need to write a separate letter - online is fine. Sorry you had to go through this -

Oh, GOD! That’s very disgusting! Who behaves like that, what are they-twelve?! And the whole adding charges after you sign, that's just despicable! I HATE MOVING COMPANIES!

That is crazy. I would post the name of the company. A lot of ladies on here are moving into homes soon, and I am sure they will want to avoid this company!!

Absolutely UNBELIEVABLE!

Who would do this? Why in the world would they do it is the bigger question. I think its a police matter, its destruction of property and intent to fraud

I heard moving companys do a lot of shady stuff like that. I think i saw a story on Dateline or something about it. I am so sorry that they did that to you. I hope that you get some resolution from this.

I just filed a complaint for BBB on my cable company (RCN). I got all these charges for PPV that wasn't ordered (I have a block on it) and whenever I called the gave me such a problem I finally decided to drop their services for another. I emailed the CEO of the company about all the problems I had and a SALES PERSON called me at work! She was willing to give back the $$$ ONLY if I remained on as a customer and ADMITTED to me on the phone that it was all their mistake! I was so diqusted, I mean who does business like this? SO I pooped on the BBB. Hopefully something will come out of it.
