Anyone make quesadillas?

Anyone make quesadillas?

I love them but have tried to make them at home and they just don't come out right. I tried using a 'quesdilla maker' that I bought at Macy's but the thing is so hard to clean.

If you make them at home please tell me how. Thanks!

I actually just put them in the oven. I know most people fry them but I feel they come out a little healthier this way. Just add salsa, cheese, and whatever else you like on them and put them in the oven for about 5 min. or until the cheese is melted at 350 degrees.

I fry them but I use the no stick pam and heat that and put it in the frying pan for a few minutes. No butter so it is not that unhealty.

Spray frying pan with a tiny bit of cooking spray.

I warm two flour tortillas (one at a time) for a couple seconds each.

Then, I put one tortilla back in the pan and add shreded cheese and any other goodies (I esp. like corn and zucchini) and then top with other warmed tortilla.

Cook until slightly brown and flip and cook until slightly brown and cheese is melty....top with sour cream...guacamole and salsa! yum!

I use a big non-stick pan, and haven't actually been using any oil/spray.

I think you need some kind of oil/butter/spray...to get that certain taste...

We use the griddle to heat them on...since its completely flat and cooks evenly...one side with cheese and another tortilla on top...then flip...

It reminds me of my days working at friendlys
