Anyone making their own centerpieces for the RD?

I'm having my RD at Brennan's in Hauppauge. They will put some votives on the table but I think it needs a little more. On the Today show a few months back they had this segment on decorating for less and the girl made nice centerpieces by tightly binding about one dozen white carnations so they look almost like one big flower and placed them in glass bowls. Or I was thinking of getting low glass bowls and filling them with cranberries and floating a few white candles in them.

Any other CHEAP and EASY ideas?

We are not because there already is centerpieces on the table-- but Frankie and I met there (well when it was Heffron's- now I wish we had our there!)
