Re: anyone making their own place cards?
DH printed ours. They came out great, but he said it was a PIA the line everything up and space it out. Luckily he is patient enough to spend the time doing it.

Re: anyone making their own place cards?
I am! I just printed my first draft last night and when I get my new printer this week I'm going to do the final ones. I'm also putting a rhinestone on each one.

Re: anyone making their own place cards?
We bought ours from Michael's through the Brides line - black and white printable from Gartner and it was pretty easy. Same size as paper 8.5 x 11 and clean edges when perforated. I didn't have any alignment issues as I downloaded the Gartner template and used a fancy font. We received a lot of compliments on them.

Re: anyone making their own place cards?
I am doing something a little different. I have these favor tins that are filled with M&M's, this picture doesn't have the Green Leaf attached to them but that is where the names and table numbers are on. They will be all placed in a bed of real grass.

Re: anyone making their own place cards?
I printed my own, I didn't want to handwrite them for 300+ guests.
I bought the imprintable cards from Party City; it took a while to get everything lined up even with the instructions but in the end they looked fine. I wanted to add rhinestones to them but I ran out of time and just sent them to the RH.
Once you get the right alignments save it so you don't have to redo it like I did.

I'm doing DIY Martha Stewart eyelet placecards...just gonna run them, through the printer and maybe add a flower or a ribbon or something.

Re: anyone making their own place cards?
I made ours on the card tents from staples with my printer. I thought they came out fine, but I wasn't picky about them.
