I wanted so bad to get married there but because FH and I are not apart of the parrish we cant......I am soooo upset about that. I know that is not an answer to your question but I figured I would post there anyway..

My friends got married there and father Pete married them

I didn't get married there... but I went to the Bridal Suiet in Bayshore and I passed by the church...

And I just wanted to tell you how GORGEOUS that church is!!!!

I hope it's not bad that I mention this...but i don't think you HAVE to be a member of the parish to be married at St. Patricks. We did our pre-cana there because the one at my church was full and it is FH's parish. A lot of people in our pre-cana group were being married at St. Pats, but did not belong to the parish. They were getting married there simply because they thought it was so beautiful!

When I looked into it that is what they told me, and then they told me that I would have to join the parrish but not be able to schedule my wedding until 6 months before....... I am definitly gonna find out because I absolutly love that church and would much rather get married there then any other church.

Been to a few weddings there. I was actually in 2 of them. I LOVE that place BUT I'm not Catholic so I can forget that idea. If you do get married there watch out for the lady that does the dress rehersal!!!!!! She's like HITLER! We were all laughing and joking with the bride and groom during some down time and she FLIPPED OUT! AND I was sitting in a pew with my legs bent but closed and she comes over ot me and pokes me and YELLS 'THATS NO HOW A LADY SITS IN CHURCH> I WILLNOT HAVE THAT ON SATURDAY OR YOU WONT BE WALKING DOWN THE AISLE!!!!!! I almost died!

I am getting married there. FI and I have been parishioners there all our lives. I am having a deacon come back to LI, and a former priest of ours to marry us... However, if I can recommend someone... Deacon Frank.. He is awesome and very funny.. He takes time with each couple to make the ceremony personal. He has been there a few years now..

Thank you so much ladies! My family have been members of the church for some time now, but FH & I have just started going ourselves every weeks. So far we really love Father Breen... but Father Bruce knows our family very well... So we'll see... thanks again!!

I am getting married there, Deacon Joe is marrying us. He actually went to high school with my mom. It is such a beautiful church. I belong to the parish. When I brought FH there to see it when we scheduled, he just couln't stop looking up!!
