My FH is a twin but he's got a twin sister so there's never any confusion there (PHEW!!!).
Anyone else with a twin??

Re: Anyone marrying a twin??
My FH isn't a twin, but my ex-boyfriend was. He had a fraternal twin brother, but they looked like identical twins to most people (I could tell them apart, thankfully). They were both in our circle of friends, so it was fun. Then my sister started dating the other twin Not really as scandalous as it sounds, we were all really good friends. She's not with that twin anymore either!

Re: Anyone marrying a twin??
DH is, supposedly identical but I never have trouble telling them apart and I'm NOT attracted to his twin-the small differences I see are enough to make me find DH hot and his brother not. Weird.

OMG!! This is so funny....DH is not a twin but has a brother (two years younger) who looks a lot like him. Now....at my wedding, my family could tell the difference, but DH's brother just got married two weeks ago, and DH was the best man so he was wearing the same tux as his brother, and ALL of the Bride's family was congratulating Dh the WHOLE night. Lol. He was so pissed..lol. He was like 'I feel like this is my wedding all over again, It's not fair! I went through this already' Lol. So one lady (no clue who) came up to him and said Congrats, and Dh said ' I am John' and she said ' so, what does that mean?' The Grooms name is Jordan! Here is a pic of them. While they do look alike, they don't look like twins for people to be making such a mistake... DH is the one standing in the front
I am marrying a twin - they are identical but i don't have diffuculty telling them apart. Only in the baby pictures :) They sound very different. I have no fear the right man will be at the altar

Re: Anyone marrying a twin??
my FH is not a twin, but his mom is, and there is another set of twins that are his mom's sisters...
I am not sure if that means there is a possibility of me having twins...or if twins would have to run in my family for me to have them...

It was really funny though, because a while ago his brother made a comment like, 'well, we know bluetulip finds me attractive'. It was all I could do not to say, 'actually, no, I don't. You are so skinny you look like Mr. Burns from the Simpson's!'

There are tons of twins in both of our families. My grandmother is a twin.. FH (like I said earlier) is a twin, my cousin has twins, he has relatives that are twins... we both have twin cousins in Ireland that are twins. I'm not gonna lie... I'm hoping when the time comes, I kill two birds with one stone!

I believe it has to be on the guys side for it to run in the family. My fh has lots of twins in his family - i always thought it was supposed to skip generations - but his daddy was a twin also

Yeah most likely twins runs in the family. Im not a twin but my mom was a twin and I also ahve another aunt and uncle who are twins. Twins runs in my family and skips a generation, so one of us might have the. I secretly wanted them too, FH says heck NO. LOL But be careful what you wish for -My grandmother had 2 sets of twin pregnancies back to back.
