I don't know when mine is. It is a surprise, but I kind-of want to know. I want to be prepared! :)

I know when mine is because 3 of my girls are in other states and I really wanted it at my house. It's fine with me because we all know we are getting one anyway.... the thought behind it is the same to me if I know or not. Plus, I hate surprises.

my bm's are trying to suprise me, but are really bad at keeping secrets, so i figured it out.
it's really hard to throw a suprise shower for someone who's 400 miles away, however

i totally agree. i totally had that feeling for BOTH my showers, but didnt want to get too excited and nothing to happen...for the record...i was right BUT i was so surprised when my MOM was at my DC shower!

I am actually a little annoyed that I know- and it was all my sisters fault!!! Even though I hate surprises, it is annoying 'sort of' knowing and not being able to talk about it- I think I would have rather had not known at all and been really surprised....
However, at least now I will make sure that I wear something nice- it is tomorrow ! ha.

in a little way, i wish i could have been surprised, but i know i would have figured it out anyway even if i hadn't threatened one of my BM's to tell me.

I don't mind knowing but I'm a control freak like that I wouldn't want to NOT know and show up wearing sweatpants with unwashed hair. Yes, that's my biggest fear Also, I need to make sure I'm not working whenever it is.

Both of our families know I really want a surprise, so they are doing everything to make sure I won't find out - and byt doing so, they aren't telling my mom any details except the actual day cause she would let all the details out and not even realize it
However, I'd like to know if it's a Sat or Sun so I can at least be prepared - I don't want to show up in blah clothes and bad hair that day lol

I feel disappointed because the surprise was killed three days ago and today's the shower.
They haven't caught on that I know, but it will be tough to act surprised while wearing a brand-new outfit!

i think i figured it out. I would like to know anyway. so much going so I would like to be able to be prepared. and i dont want to go to my own shower looking like i rolled out of bed

It turns out that my shower is going to be the same day as my birthday! And it was going to be a surprise but then I ruined it by telling my MOH that I was unavailable for brunch that day because I was treating myself well for my birthday by doing blah blah blah...so she had to tell me. Poor thing. But at least now I'll make sure I wear something nice!

I didn't want to know but found out by accident---my mom is really ridiculously easy to read and I figured it out-but there's always the possiblity that I'm wrong!

I've gone back and forth between wanting to know and not wanting to know. But I think I figured it out anyway, though no one has specifically said the date and no one will confirm that I'm correct heheheh
At this point, there's only so many weekends left, and I work on the weekends, so if I have to 'go out' anywhere...then I'll know for sure at that time that it is indeed my shower. But they're trying hard to keep it a surprise
