ANYONE MISS BEIENG PREGNANT?

Hi girls,
my son is now almost 10 weeks old and doing great. He is beautiful and if I could figure out my digital camera I'd post pics....
anyway, does anyone ever miss being preggo? I mean I had a great pregnancy and at the end I had had it and wanted him out, but I kind of miss being pregnant and my belly and all. I can't believe it's over I guess. I read all of the expectant moms posts and sometimes wish I was still preggo. I guess the grass is always greener...Just wondering if anyone else felt this way....

Re: ANYONE MISS BEIENG PREGNANT?

I definitely miss it! I can't wait until we have another baby. The kicking, moving, the heartbeat. I also get kind of jealous when I hear about the women or see PG women. The anticipation is exciting. Getting the nursery ready. This time last year I was huge! I can't believe my son is already 10 months old! It goes by sooo fast! He's not my little baby anymore he's my little man.

Re: ANYONE MISS BEIENG PREGNANT?

I miss it a lot. My daughter is 4 weeks and I think about being pregnant at least once a day. I just loved being pregnant. I miss the movements and hearing her heartbeat. All of the anticipation. But then I look at her and realize it's so much better being able to hold her and kiss her.

I have to say though that I can't wait to get pregnant again.

Re: ANYONE MISS BEIENG PREGNANT?

I miss the movement and the anticipation but this is going to sound crazy to some people but i miss the actual delivery. Dont get me wrong I dont miss the pain (even though it wasnt too bad) It was so exciting waiting for my little one to come in those last few hours. then hearing the dr say its a boy and her putting him on my stomach...that was complete bliss!

Re: ANYONE MISS BEIENG PREGNANT?

I know what you mean about the delivery....I almost don't remember all of it and that part bothers me. I mean, it's like it was an out-of-body thing for me. My husband says that's b/c of the the pain and that your mind does that to you to help you deal, but it's like it happened a lifetime ago! I wish I videotaped it!!

Re: ANYONE MISS BEIENG PREGNANT?

I miss the closeness we had - like it was just about her and me. There's somedays I look at her and just wish she was back inside me, where I knew she was safe and I could feel her every movement.

It's so funny, there are typical movements she makes now that I can clearly remember her making inside (like she rubs the sides of her head or stretches her arms out and does the breast stroke). It was such an awesome, indescribeable sensation.

Re: ANYONE MISS BEIENG PREGNANT?

I definately don't miss being pregnant - but I too really miss the birth. It was such a great experience, and I can't wait to do it again!

Re: ANYONE MISS BEIENG PREGNANT?

Unfortunately (well, I'm not sure about that...) but I didn't have the same experience as you guys since I had a C-section. I got to see the baby for 1 second over the curtain and that was it until I fed him about an hour later. I was too shaky to even hold him from the spinal. I was always scared of having a v-birth. Besides it hurting, I was more embarrassed that my husband would see all that goes on and comes out! I was wondering what it was like when they put the baby on your chest, and you get to hold him/her right away.
