Anyone not doing a receiving line?

Anyone not doing a receiving line?

We decided not to after the ceremony bc we are attending the entire cocktail hour so we'll make our rounds then.

My Q- after the ceremony and you walk down the aisle...do you just get into the limo to go to the RH?

OR

Go into a seperate room until all guests are lined up outside for the 'send off'?

Do you plan on taking pics in the church? I remember that my sister walked out the church and back in a side door to take a few pics then got in her limo...actually she stopped for about 3 pics before jumping into her limo. While the MOB, FOB, MOG and Grandfather of the groom said good byes to guests as they walked out the church.

Id say do it during cocktail hour, when everyone is relaxed just go around and give hugs this is much more fun than standing in a line.

I don't really know. That's a good idea to go back in. I;m not THRILLED with our church but we were really limited. I don't really want a TON of posed pics there...I want the bulk to be at RH. Just don't know how to plan without a receiving line.

She didn't have the send off?

at 1st i was opposed to joining my guest at CH, but now i'm really warming up to the idea of it and will probably make my rounds at that time. i'm taking pics b4 the ceremony so my main concern is to not get pulled away from my party so much to take formal pics.

I agree...unfortunately, FH doesn't want to do pics before the ceremony but it's a great idea

IMO if you are having the ceremony at the church then you should do a receiving line, only because some people might just be there to see your ceremony and not be invited to the RH.

If you are doing everything at the RH and everyone will be at the CH then I say to do the greeting then.

HTH :)
