I'm thinking of doing grey suits. Anyone else do this? Is this a lot to ask of groomsmen? We have a small bridal party.

My FH is doing charcoal grey suits. We have 4 groomsmen and 1 Best Man. He's looked into a few places for the suits, and I have to say that I think that grey looks nice. It also depends on your wedding colors, though.
I have seen weddings with light grey suits and I think they look good as well.
I wouldn't see why it's a lot to ask of groomsmen though.

I was thinking it might be a lot to ask groomsmen because they're more likely to already own a black suit.

we are doing tan suits, but renting them. FH was in a wedding where they did charcoal grey suits from Mens Wearhouse that they purchased. If you wait til the have a big sale, they are buy one get one, so in all the suit, shirt and tie all came to $250 for each GM!

no we are going a black suit but a regular black suit
no tux or anything 'wedding looking'
I just wanted FH to look handsome and his father is the BM and is also wearing a black suit :)

Fh is being all annoying about it butI want tan suits. It's actually cheaper in the end and they get to keep them, so I don't see the big deal! But what are you going to do? I don't think it's too much to ask of them, like i said they get a nice suit out of deal and it's usually cheaper than renting a tux.

The Jim's Formal Wear line carries them. You can go on the Jim's website and find a store near to you! We are going through Mur Lees in Lynbrook
