i don't LOOOOOOOOOOVE mine, but i don't feel like getting new ones either. they are the most neglected/ignore item of the whole wedding really. people care more about how the placecard table is decorated than what the cards look like.

Yeah I was thinking about getting nicer place cards for our reception, but when I thought about it, I really did not want to spend the money on something that people were going to leave behind at the reception.

we'll probably be using a seating chart instead of placecards. but i'm okay with the direction cards. i mean if you think about it---guest aren't gonna think 'ooo--these direction/placecards are bad!' it's one of those random things that as brides we fuss over, that no one really cares about. (it rank up there with types of stamps on the invites)

the placecards do bother me - but not the directional cards ... i am planning on making my own place cards - I am going to print them on y own, and then just fill in the table number after I plan the seating tables.

My advice on that is to wait to print it all...if you print out (computer) the names, you might as well print out the table numbers...it will keep it sleeker.

My RHs place cards are HUGE so we are not using them...as far as the direction cards that part doesnt matter to me all that much.
