Just curious! I am not from LI originally, so I am getting married where I grew up. I am using a lot of LI vendors though! Am I alone?

your not alone! i have never lived on LI but i joined NYCWeddings - but the chat rooms are all the same as LIW so i still stuck around. I grew up in Astoria, Queens and I am using Queens/Astoria vendors. I will be moving to Brooklyn after the wedding and the wedding itself will be held in Brooklyn. Even though i'm not from LI and don't know much a bout it, i still got a ton of great ideas from the girls here and everyone has been really helpful lending an ear when it was necessary
