Anyone not getting ready at their house on wedding day?

I have a very small house and I'm concerned its going to be too crowded in my house with my mom, dad, 8 bridesmaids getting ready and taking pictures. My wedding is in December so my house will also be decorated with Christmas stuff which also takes up room. I was considering getting ready in the bridal suite at the hotel which the guests are staying. It is decorated beautifully in December. Anyone doing something similar?

i'm only doing hair and makeup at my parents, i'm bringing my dress and getting dressed in the bridal suite at my RH :o)

We got a suite in our hotel for 2 nights so I will be getting ready there and fh will have to go to another room to get ready with the guys. I am also planning on having my hair and make up done at the hotel and we booked our photographers to come and get pics of us getting ready

I am getting a hotel because my house is small and far away from the RH. I think you should do whatever you are most comfotable with.

I'm getting ready in the bridal suite at the temple we're getting married at. My hair and make up people will come early and then I'll be able to get into my dress there.

mom and i were just talking about this today ... i may be coming out of my house (although i feel like it is too small) of my FSIL who has a beautiful house. not sure yet.

Im getting ready at home.. buy my FSIL booked a hotel room for the night before and the wedding night and got read there

I have 9 BM's + mom & dad +me and my aunt & cousin ...but I insisted on getting ready in the house I grew up in. My parents got us 3 suites at a hotel near by for the night before where we will all do our showers. Then half of us will head out for our hair, while the others head to my house and get makeup.. then we will switch. We will all meet back at my house to get dressed together and hang...
I know that this makes my mom really nervous but I have sooo much attachment to my house and its big enough that we can do this comfortably.

Im getting ready at my mothers they have a finished basement with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom that is empty because my sister and I moved out a few yrs ago so it is perfect for my big day!!

The mirror in my apt is just too small and besides, FH will be staying there. I plan to stay over my mom's and do my hair and makeup at her place since she's got a huge mirror and counter in the bathroom. I'll be getting dressed at the RH.

I did my room block from Friday to Sunday so I will be at the hotel the whole weekend. I didn't want to have to cross the bridge or sit in traffic from my house to the RH.
