Anyone not having a Bachlorette/Bachlor Party?

Anyone not having a Bachlorette/Bachlor Party?

I'm not sure if I'll be having one, and to tell you the truth, I'm not sure if I even want one. My friends and family live in S.I. and it's so hard to coordinate a get together. One of my friends mentioned we'd go to Atlantic City for a night, which would be nice, but that might not happen until after the wedding. No time. We don't have much of a bridal party either. Besides, my family and friends have done enough for me.

FH will be celebrating with his brothers for like 3 days before the wedding. One of his brothers lives out of state, so they're planning on going to a Yankee game, golfing and of course, out drinking !!

I just wrote to my girls saying that I'm not having one. Honestly, I can't deal with the stress of pleasing everyone and finding an affordable place for everyone - it's too much. My wedding's in 9 days - don't have time to freak out over girls complaining about money, working, etc. My fi had a bachelor party and really wantd me to go out, maybe I'll go out with my MOH and other friend and do something small - besides, I wanted to go to Vegas, so nothing was going to make me happy!

I'm not having one...don't really want one either. Both MOH and BM are married with kids and have grown out of the 'going out for the night' kind of thing. (Sad to say, but I think I did too...I've lived on my own for so many years that my partying days are over...that's why I'm getting married! ) If we do anything it would just be dinner or something low key.

I love the idea of a spa day, but who the hell has the money anymore!

These are JMO...please no one take offense.

We aren't doing anything really either. I may just go to dinner with some of the girls and he may do a day of golf or something. Nothing crazy.

This was how I felt. Also, I only had a MOH and the friends I would have wanted to participate don't really live that close, with the exception of one, who was about to give birth. I didn't have a shower either. I guess I am weird, but I don't really like all the fuss.

I doubt I'll be having one but I dunno yet. If I do it will be very low key, I don't like all the hype of drinking and strippers. I'd be happy with a night out to dinner and a show with my girls or maybe a Yankee game and a BBQ outside the stadium. Nobody has the time or the $$ anymore. Besides I have a BM who is only gonna be 15, I can't have her doing all that kinda crazy stuff!!

I'm not having one either. There's too much to do with the wedding, and it's hard to figure out what would please everyone. I'm having a shower, which is enough. My friends aren't going anywhere, I figure we will do something after the wedding.
