Anyone NOT having a RD????

and if so what are you planning on doing after you are done at the church???

at this time I'm not having one.. I can't afford $1500-ish for dinner.. FH & I are paying for EVERYTHING.. but I might ask/coordinate the BP to go out for a few drinks afterwards.. but if you have a family member that's willing to open their house to you BP then havea BBQ? od kinda like a cocktail finger food gathering??

Yeah my FH and I are paying for everything also. His parents offered to give us one but we decided to use the money to pay for part of the wedding instead. I like the cocktail party at someones house idea. Thanks.

I'm doing it at my moms house, they are jusy going to make baked ziti sausage n pepers maybe a hero .... nothing big me and FH are paying for everything ourseves also...

We aren't having one either. Don't have the extra $$ to waste...excuse me spend lol. we are going to have something simple at FH brothers house and have some food either catered or home cooked on the BBQ. It will be October, but BBQ is always great!

We're having an after rehearsal BBQ/dinner...we're grilling and catering some things.

I am not having a real one.
The Friday before the wedding we are just having the bridal party over for dinner to give them their gifts.
We are going to have a separate dinner with our parents a week or 2 earlier
