Re: Anyone NOT having a rehearsal dinner?
we are having one, but it will be very low key probably.. I will order a few trays of food and have it at our house, so it will be like a RD & housewarming all in one

If we have one it will be a BBQ at FILs house. Not sure if we're going to bother.

Re: Anyone NOT having a rehearsal dinner?
we're having a rehearsal, followed by the bridal party and OOT'ers meeting at our apartment... we're cooking!
So it will be casual, and only about 15 people....

Re: Anyone NOT having a rehearsal dinner?
No... we're not having one. We're getting married at a Temple so there's really no 'rehearsal' the day b4 the wedding. Plus, a lot of people aren't coming in till the wedding day since it's a late Sat night (8:30PM). Just doing a big brunch the next morning. maybe the family will go out to dinner... still up in the air

Re: Anyone NOT having a rehearsal dinner?
We might not be, his family hasent mentioned a word about one. So if they arent making one for us(it would only be like low key 10 people) then we arent having on. Im not paying for anything else. im broke. my mom is helping with all my thing and shower. So they need to help out.
Sorry i was just venting. lol

Me too....Save some $$ and more intimate w/ the family
We were originally goin ALL out, but we chose to save ourselves 4k. So we're having it upsatirs at my FMIL house. Half will be home made and half will be catered. I'd rather put that 4k to extending our house . Besides, it's more practical, with all the expenses we've encured for our wedding!

Re: Anyone NOT having a rehearsal dinner?
lol my fiance's parents are going to hold a rehersal bbq.. we are not really rehersing but its a mere get together before the event! The costs involved with rehersal dinners.. is def. to much..

Re: Anyone NOT having a rehearsal dinner?
We are not having one either as we do not think that it is worth the extra $$$ especially since our hall doesn't even allot a rehearsal. We will have a bridal luncheon though in the spring. Nothing extra spectacular just lunch at the house with all of our attendants so we can start to discuss the logistics.

Re: Anyone NOT having a rehearsal dinner?
My FMIL offered to host. Her brother is an investor in a local rest. If she didn't offer we would prob do low key like a BBQ to save money. We have an 11 person bridal party. And with OOT guests, parents of the ring bearer and signifigant others it's like 30-34 ppl. Way too much. And we don't even get reherdal time at SLCC, so it's all kinda fuzzy, but I guess the final answer is yes.

I'm hoping to have one but the in laws haven't offered to host it yet so I guess I'll decide later on. . .
